Links are one of the most important elements in a web

These are links that enable the browser to open a computer based email program such as outlook, so the end user can email you via that link.
There are drawbacks from using direct links on your webs such as increasing spam to your accounts.
How do you create an email link:

First find the place where you want to put your link.
Then when your cursor is in the right position, go to "Insert" at the top of Dreamweaver.
Choose "Email Link" from the dropdown menu. Thus Insert / Email Link
This will open the "Email Link" window.
There are two fields in the "Email Link" window: "Text" & "Email Link"
Fill in the "Text" field first with the text you want the end user to see.
Now fill in the "Email Link" with the email address you are targeting.
Now click "OK" and you are done.
