- There are links to other pages and anchors which are links to content within pages.
- There are basic links which open onto your browser page and there are "targeted"
links which can be open new pages or onto the existing page and more.
- In the beginning we will be using three types of links:
- Basic links: the basic link or default link opens the page you are linking to onto the page you reading
- Targeted links: targeted links give you more control over where the new page will open.
We will look at the "target="_blank" link which opens the page you are linking to
into a new separate page leaving the source page open underneath the new page.
- anchors.
- Email links are links that enable the browser to open a computer based email program such as outlook, so the end user can email you via that link.
